Owl Prowls: A great gray (owl)
perches on a branch to probably look for a mouse. The pic was shot in Pine County, MN,
on January 29, 2005. Note: Food supplies became
really low in 2005, so many great gray owls moved far south of their normal
wintering range to seek food. We were fortunate to spot many great gray owls
while the owls were struggling to survive.
