Here is a pic of a Phoebe holding on to a twig on a windy day. This pic
was shot at Maplewood Nature Center,
Maplewood, MN on October 10, 2011.
On our lunch break, we did a really short birding walk at Maplewood Nature
Center: Here are what we spotted during the walk; for birds - a phoebe, a
yellow-rumped warbler, a warbler (unidentified), Canada geese, Mallards,
killdeers (calls), crows, and a chickadee (calls); Plus - a muskrat at close
range, leopard frogs and one dead leopard frog, a
yellow
jacket (attracted to our Subway's Chicken Teriyaki sandwiches), bumblebees, a
yellow jacket - like fly (unidentified),
bracket
mushrooms, etc.
