８月の初旬、偶然に、二羽の若いCooper's hawk 鷹に出くわしました。この写真の鷹は、そのうちの一羽で、まだ、巣立ちしたばかりです。この若い鷹は、高さ、５ｍ程にある木の枝に止まり、よく鳴きます。この鳴き声は、自分のいる場所を自分の兄弟姉妹、または、親に伝えるものと思います。いろいろ自分の周りをチェックします。時々、下にいる私たちもチェックします。この巣立ちしたばかりの鷹は、次のように言っているように思えます。"I'm just curious. あんたたち、一体何者、味方、それとも、敵？" This photo was taken at Maplewood Nature Center in Maplewood, MN on 100808.
