Photo 1        Here is a pic of a large Gopher Snake (about 2 m long) crossing the dirt road in front of our car. We've never seen a Gopher Snake. This pic was shot near the entrance to the MN Valley National Wildlife Refuge, Rapids Lake (just outside the Refuge) on June 4, 2011.
