St. Patrick's Day Parade
2006 Photo 2
The parade
has several kinds of Irish dogs; Here is a pic of two cool Irish wolfhounds, Romeo
(left) & Connar, and their owners, Robin (left) & Garry (center), and their
friend, Mickey (right). Thanks to Robin for making efforts to let your dogs pose
for our camera. Robin and Garry say, "They weigh around 150 lbs." These are big
dogs, and are known as the enemy of wolves. They were formerly used in hunting
wolves. We’re pretty sure that’s why they got the name, “Wolfhound”. One of our
staff says, “They look gentle, but I don’t wanna mess with them. They weigh the
same as me”. The pic was shot in Downtown St. Paul, MN, March 17, 2006.
