Answer 26 - “Child proof lids” :

Assume that you go to a pharmacy store to buy a medicine bottle over the counter.   You may discover that you can’t open the lid of the bottle in an ordinary way. Once, however, you rotate the lid in the counter-clockwise direction while pushing it down towards the bottle, you can easily take the lid off the bottle.  Putting the lid back on won’t give you any problems.  These are called “Child proof lids”. This is a method used to protect kids from opening the bottle and taking the drugs by mistake.  Note: As long as I recall, in Japan I’ve never seen this kind of lid, and it’s a great way to protect kids from accidents.  (112002)
