We often see roadkill as shown in the picture of the raccoon.  Roadkill means the animal was killed by a car while on the road.  Some common victims of roadkill are squirrels, foxes, rabbits, and deer.  This photo example is of a raccoon.  We feel sorry for the victims of roadkill, Since the US has so many wild animals some of the animals wonder out into the roads.  Oftentimes people don’t have the reflexes to avoid hitting the animal.  Sometimes trying to avoid the animal made lead to accident as well.
