"20/20" in English

20/20 は、"twenty-twenty vision" とも言い、普通の健康な視力のことです。最初の20は、20フィート (6m) 離れた所からの視力検査の距離、次の２０は、標準の視力の人が、検査のものを読むことが出来る距離のことです。たとえば、20/100 の場合は、標準の視力の人が、100フィートの距離から、読めるものを20フィートの距離から、読める視力。20/10 の場合は、標準の視力の人が、10フィートの距離から、読めるものを20フィートの距離から、読める視力。

また、"20/20"は、いろいろなところで使われます。たとえば、ABC（テレビ局の一つ）は、"20/20"視力は、物をはっきりと見る能力と言う意味で、"20/20"と呼ばれる調査テレビ番組を放映しています。
