Interesting Q from Japanese J:  “I've Qs on American holidays.  In October there are a few Jewish festivals in calendars; Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot. How familiar are these for the “Average Joe”?  Please let me know yar view when ya get a chance.  Thanks.”     J.   (050924)

A from American B:  “Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur:  I think most Americans have heard of these, but unless they are Jewish most people (like me) do not know what they are.  I have heard the significance before, but I have forgotten them.
