132 Petting
Zoo (040726) A petting zoo
is a small zoo of farm animals. The petting zoo is really popular in Minnesota,
and very often seen at events such as County Fairs and local events. Petting
Zoos are for kids, and the young at heart, who want to pet the animals and feed
them. Kids love to see animals and touch them. Animals in the petting zoo
are all gentle ones, for example, goats, sheep, Llamas (native to South
America), rabbits, etc. You can usually feed the animals in the petting zoo by
paying 25 cents at a feeding station. Common foods are corn grains or some
animal foods. |
