On President’s Day there are no events such as parades and marches. Public offices, post offices, schools, stock markets, banks, etc. are usually closed. Calendars usually indicate Lincoln’s Birthday (February 12) and Washington’s Birthday (February 22) in addition to President’s Day (Third Mon. in February; February 16 for 2004).
