The first time I, a Japanese, saw lawn signs for elections here the signs looked weird to me. I've never seen any lawn signs like this in Japan. However, most Americans commute by car and they will usually drive by many lawns. So, I think that big lawn signs would be quite useful here. Usually the lawn signs are removed promptly after the elections.
