Rally on the River* (The Mississippi)

A Harley Davidson motorcycle parade was planned to occur in St. Paul on June 28, 2003, Saturday 6 p.m. Unfortunately, the parade had to be canceled because of the bad weather. Well, it rained hard just from 5 to 5:50 p.m. The cancellation announcement was made at 5:30 p.m. "It sucked!" At 6 p.m. the rain stopped and even the sun started shining. People, including us, were disappointed by the cancellation. It's great fun to watch this special parade which would have around 1,500 Harley Davidson motorcycles. Around 6 p.m., there were at least some more motorcycles than usual passing Wabasha Street and Kellogg Boulevard. Quite a few people, classic cars, and some food stands were along Kellogg Boulevard. A rally had been on Harriet Island from Fri. through Sun. See pix (Photo Gallery>Minnesota Festivals>Rally on the river).
