Grand Old Day The 30th Grand Old Day, St. Paul's annual first rite of summer, was held on June 1, 2003 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It was held along the 2.5 miles of Grand Ave. from Dale Street to Fairview Ave. in St. Paul. It turned out to be a beautiful day. The event attracted about 300,000 people, which made Grand Ave. very crowded. There were a lot of fun events there such as: sports events, live music, parades, in-line skating and skateboard demos, race car and classical car displays, and pet tricks (see details< www.grandave.com > ) . The Grand Parade was a great event. See our Grand Old Day pix. Sources < www.grandave.com >
