Wishes for the Sky, Harriet Island Park, St. Paul, MN, 080420 Earth Day Event inspired by ancient Chinese traditions of flying wishes on kites. 　

Wishes for the Skyは、願い事を書いた凧をあげ、その願いをかなえてもらうことを（神様に？）お願いする昔の中国の伝統にインスパイヤーされるEarth Dayイベントです。会場では、ツバメの形の凧を貸してもらえます。まず、そのローン凧に、あなたのEarth Dayのお願いを書きます。後は、その願い事を書いた凧を公園の芝生の大広場であげます。たくさんのウィンドチャイムと竹のスカルプチャーで作られた"House to Touch the Wind" "風に触れることが出来る家"も会場内にあります。ウィンドチャイムの音を聞きながら、凧をあげることが出来ます。Eureka! Recycling のイベントリサイクリングもあり、リサイクリングを学び、実行出来ます。凧と凧あげは、MN Kite Society ミネソタ凧協会のメンバーの方が、世話して下さいます。
