Here is a “Sun
Halo”. Sun halos usually appear as white rings when light passes through ice
crystals in high clouds such as cirrus and cirrostratus clouds in the
atmosphere. The light gets refracted by the ice crystals and forms a halo,
which can look really cool. This is a 22 degree halo*. This pic was shot in St.
