This is a picture of "Bronx," an eight year old female red-tailed boa constrictor (from Colombia), also owned by Jan (see the baby alligator pic). Red-tailed boa constrictors often live till they are 25 years old. This picture was taken at Water Festival in Como Park, St. Paul, MN on 060617. She is a representative from the Minnesota Herpetological Society, a society to promote the conservation and preservation of amphibians and reptiles, found at: < www.bellmuseum.org/herpetology/main.html >. In addition to the red-tailed boa constrictor, Jan showed several snakes, a few turtles, and an alligator , which are her pets, with the help of her friend.
