"Hey, aren't you guys hibernating in your underground burrows around this time of the year?" "I don't know. I'm just hungry." "Anyways, Awesome to see ya Groundhog!" Its body length is about 50 cm. This pic was taken in Maplewood, MN, on Thanksgiving Day, 081127. A park ranger is saying, "Groundhogs may come out of their dens even around this time of the year when it's warm. On the other hand, a naturalist told us, "It's weird."
