Naturalists count raptor’s numbers at Hawk Ridge. Conservationist Max (Right, from Illinois)
helps at Haw Ridge Bird Observatory from spring
through fall. Naturalists (Raptor Experts) know how to quickly and easily
identify raptors. For example, a half hour ago or so, when Max didn’t count
raptors, he identified a few raptors flying
very high overhead as Northern Harriers. Ummm…, we couldn’t identify the
birds. Very impressive! The pic was shot in
