Here is a picture of the line with everyone waiting in front of Barnes & Noble in the Mall of America to get their book. There was over 1,000 Harry Potter fans at this event, and for some it took a couple of hours just to get their hands on the book. The book sold an amazing 8.3 million copies in just 24 hours after its release (that's means almost 3% of the United States population went out and bought the book the day it came out!)
