私たちのスタﾂフの一人、js は、２００３年度において、二つのローカルコミュニテｲーイベントにおいて、フォトグラファーとして奉仕活動をしました。

２００３年12月: DNR Nongame Wildlife Program < http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/ecological_services/nongame/projects/trumpeterswan/helping.html > にTrumpeter 白鳥を見たことを報告して、Trumpeter 白鳥の保護に手助け

私たちは、Minnesota DNR (Department of Natural Resources)に、２００３年12月３日に、私たちのオフィスの近くにあるOakdale 市のTanners 湖において、16 羽のTrumpeter白鳥を見たことを報告しました。ノート：私たちは、16 羽の白鳥が、Trumpeter白鳥かTundra 白鳥かを議論しました。そして、私たちは、これらの白鳥は、目の近くに黄色のマークがないことから、多分、Trumpeter白鳥であろうと結論しました。Lee & Rose Warner Nature Center < http://www.smm.org/warnernaturecenter/ >のK. Monaさんとセンターの所員の二、三人の方は、親切に、私たちの撮影した白鳥の写真をもとに、これらの白鳥は、Trumpeter白鳥であると教えてくださいました。

この７月、私たちのスタﾂフの一人 (sy) は、White Bear Lake市にあるセンチュリー大学より依頼され、日本の秋田県のAkita MnSCU (Minnesota State College & University) の学生、約６５名に講演をしました。
