も最高です。特に、美術館では、日本の学校の美術の教科書に載っているたいへん有名な絵をたくさん見ることが出来ます。また、米国人なら誰でも知っている

もこの美術館にあります。ご存知のように、よく、この絵の二人の顔を変えた絵が、美術館に関係なく、いろいろな所で見られます。さらに、有名な映画、フェリス ビューラー の一日さぼり
(Movie:
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off)
でも人気になった、Georges
Seurat’s “A Sunday on La Grande Jatte - 1884” の絵もこの美術館の所蔵品です。
食べ物ですが、ピザで有名な
Gino’s East
レストランの壁には、お客さんは、誰でも、落書きが出来ます。

には、一年前程、たいへん高いフロアーに、作られたガラス張りのでっぱった床があります:

The Ledge（ガラス張りのでっぱった床）。このガラス張りの床に立つと、自分が、空間に浮いた感じになるそうです（アメイジングですね！私たちは、まだ、このガラス張りの床に立ったことがありません）。

も人気があります。
シカゴのダウンタウンは、五大湖の一つ、ミシガン湖畔にあります。市内のいろいろな名所が、比較的に近くにありますので、徒歩で、歩き回る事が出来ます。
有名なジャズやブルーズのライブに行くのもいいですね。ノート：イリノイ州は、ジャズの発祥地のルイジアナ州のニューオリンズ市とミシシッピー川でつながっていますので、ジャズは、早い時期に、シカゴ市で、盛んになったと聞いています。
