Americans think of when 'July' is mentioned"
August

American T's view:
Hottest month, another month for vacationing.
American M’s view 060531:
August is one of the nicest months in Minnesota for weather. At the beginning of
August it can be extremely hot and humid, but by the end it cools down to a very
nice temperature. It also means that people have to go back to school at the end
of the month, so August is when I start thinking about school again. Most of the
summer sports are either finished or winding down, and flowers and plants are
getting prepared for fall. The Minnesota State Fair also takes place at the end
of August and it’s one of the biggest state fairs in the country. The Minnesota
State Fair is known for its food, and the food is as good and unhealthy as
possible (ex: deep fried candy bars, mini donuts).
